How soon after discharge can a nurse start?
It depends on availability. Call us as early as you can, ideally before the patient leaves the hospital, so that we can plan the first visit.
How long will I need post-operative nursing?
That depends on the surgery, the patient’s age and health, and the surgeon’s advice. Some patients need only a few days; others need several weeks.
Can the nurse help with physiotherapy exercises?
A nurse can help the patient follow the mobility and exercise instructions that the doctor or physiotherapist has given. She does not replace a physiotherapist.
What symptoms should I report right away?
